Have Questions?

Coming in for the first time? Here is a little nonformal info about our Church gatherings

A.) In short... No. The only one in a suit and tie around here will be Pastor... Unless there is a visiting Pastor, then there may be two people. We ask that you are respectful in your attire. Remember, you're not going to the beach or a club, but we are not at all concerned with whether or not you are in your "Sunday best". Wear what you've got and know that you are welcome here.

Q.) Is childcare available?
Q.)Do I have to dress up to come to church?
Q.) How long do services last?
Q.) Do I have to use the KJV?

A.) We gather for three services weekly, and they each last about an hour. Sunday morning, we meet for "Sunday school" from 10:00-10:45AM. That is followed by our Sunday morning worship service which runs from 11:00-12:00PM. We also have a Wednesday evening prayer meeting and bible study from 7:00-8:00PM. We have also started live streaming our services... Sunday usually begins on our YouTube channel at 11:15/11:20AM, and Wednesday starts up online at around 7:20PM.

A.) Yes, We have a great group of volunteers that pitch in to help serve at the church. They work on rotation to fill the needs of our nursery and junior church. Nursery is reserved for 4 years old and under, and junior church is from 5-12 years old. We feel by age 12, the child should be able to stay up in "big people church." Of course kiddos aren't put together in a cookie cutter fashion and we will address needs as they arise.

A.) Relax, we're not the "bible police". However, we feel that the Authorized King James is a very solid and accurate translation of the Bible. All of our literature as well as Pastor's teaching will be from the KJV. Pastor teaches in expository fashion straight from the word and sometimes he will break down the original Greek and/or Hebrew that our English was translated from. Trouble is with some of the other versions... they may not even have that word, scripture, phrase, or even verse. We feel whole-heartedly that the bible doesn't need to be rewritten... just re-read. However, again... we're not the bible police and aren't going to shame you for reading a different version. Just make certain it's a word for word translation and not thought for thought. There are some "versions" out there that are outright garbage.

Q.) Do I have to give to the offering?

A.) No. However, the tithe and offering that we take up during our worship time is part of our faith and practice. It's part of worship in the form of telling God that we trust Him by giving back a portion of what He has blessed us with. Donations go toward: Keeping the lights on, HVAC running, Missionaries supported, Provisions for the food pantry, Upkeep on the building and grounds, Helping one another when in need, Pastor's ice cream habit... etc. In short... No, you are under no obligation to give and won't be shamed by us for not. If you can, and want to take part then by all means feel free to. However, God is not poor and we trust that He will supply and provide for the needs of His Church.

We understand that it can be stressful to come into a new place or even back to a place that you have been away from for a while. I assure you, it doesn't need to be. We are a down to earth, Lord Jesus loving, welcoming bunch of folks. If you're not perfect then you will fit right in, because none of us are either. If you have any questions while you are here... Don't hesitate to ask. Hope to see you soon!
